Jonathan H. Hulbert
Mr. Hulbert received a B.A. from Reed College (Phi Beta Kappa), an M.A. from the University of California at Berkeley, and a J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley School of Law, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif. In 1987, he taught Securities Regulations as an Adjunct Professor at Hastings College of the Law, University of California. Mr. Hulbert practiced general corporate and business law in San Francisco, before coming to the Boston area, where he joined Foley, Hoag & Eliot LLP. Before moving to the General Counsel's office, he was a partner at Foley Hoag for almost 10 years, concentrating in intellectual property and licensing, commercial law, corporate finance and securities law. At Harvard, Mr. Hulbert advises on copyright and intellectual property matters, licensing deals, digitization projects, collaborations, online education, sponsored research, vendor agreements, and a wide range of other transactions and programs. He also counsels and serves as Clerk of the American Repertory Theater.
