Daniel Kanter
Mr. Kanter received his B.A. cum laude from Yale University and his J.D. magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review. Following law school, Mr. Kanter clerked for the Hon. Stanley Marcus of the United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the Hon. Ketanji Brown Jackson, then of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. Prior to joining the Office of the General Counsel, Mr. Kanter served in the Legal Division of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, where he advised on matters of statutory interpretation, administrative law, and agency governance, as well as supervisory and enforcement actions. At Harvard, he advises on a range of issues, including litigation and investigations.
