Perry Wechsler

Mr. Wechsler earned his Bachelor of Arts, with distinction, in psychology and political science from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Through his selection as an Alexander Fellow, he clerked for the Honorable William G. Bassler of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey during his final year of law school. Prior to joining the Office of the General Counsel, Mr. Wechsler was Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Ahold Delhaize USA, the parent company of Stop & Shop and other retail chains, where he led the Commercial, Real Estate, Strategic Transactions & Technology Team, focusing on commercial real estate, mergers & acquisitions, and related strategic initiatives. He was previously associated with national law firms in New York City engaged on cross-border finance and commercial real estate transactions. At Harvard, Mr. Wechsler advises on commercial transactions, real estate, construction, and related litigation matters.
